S Promised Gourdet is an Art entrepreneur whose repertoire includes stylist, chef, photographer, poet and stage/studio artist. A natural hair expert and image consultant by profession, she founded The Promised Land Beauty Bar in 2005. A safe space for women to converse and experience varying degrees of transitioning their hair. Promised is a member of C4 Atlanta and TILA Studios in East Point, and has previously been a featured panelist for TressFree, Strictly Roots and Heartbeats and HipHop.
