Aya has been braiding hair most of her life. She started in her home of West Africa and brought her skills to the states, first in Georgia and for the past 3 years she has made the MS Gulf Coast home. Aya learned to braid “by grace” not formal training. As a young girl she braided my grandmother’s hair and has been braiding ever since. So Aya is the choice for truly authentic African Hair Braiding.
