Hi! My name is Miki, owner/hairstylist of Atelier M. I was a hairstylist in Japan since 1999, moved to the US 2003 and worked in a variety of salons, joined the Nicole Miller Bridal Show as a hairstylist in March 2011 and PIFA (Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts) as a hairstylist in April 2011. When my mom’s salon became a natural/organic salon in Japan, I was introduced to a more natural approach in achieving less damaging, healthier hair through organic color lines, organic products and Japanese Head Spa. I am thrilled to open my own “atelier” (studio), an exciting new step in my career! I will welcome new and old clients into this tranquil space I was lucky to find.
